The community is well known for staging high standard sporting, cultural and creative events.
The people of Bangalow support a variety of events, which bring everyone in the community together staging quality cultural, creative and sporting festivals throughout the year. Bangalow also hosts an outstanding Music Festival, outdoor film festival and Flickerfest International Short Film Festival, which includes music and film projects by local artists.
Bangalow community holds regular
art and craft markets on the 4th Sunday of every month and
a farmers market every Saturday morning 8.00am–11.00am.
The community comes together each year for highly anticipated events such as the Billycart Derby, The Bangalow Music Festival, Bangalow Show and the Christmas celebrations.

Take a stroll around Bangalow town and admire the rustic federation style facades of the streetscape and heritage buildings.
The new Heritage Walk is an ideal way to experience the charm and uniqueness of Bangalow and its rich and wonderful history. The walk starts and finishes at the Heritage House Museum and includes many of Bangalow’s historic buildings and points of interest.
